Earn co-curricular Honors credit
This form requires you to provide a 200-300 description of the experience for which you are applying to earn Honors credit. In addition to submitting your Honors Credit application, your faculty will receive an email to approve that the information you have provided is correct. Both your form and the faculty approval are due by the deadline.
You will need to complete a reflection paper two-to-three pages in length at the end of the semester in order to earn Honors credit for the course or experience. The paper should be double-spaced and use a 12-point font. You should make your faculty member aware of this requirement when you obtain the faculty signature. You will also need to make sure that he/she understands that this paper will be submitted to the faculty member. The faculty member will make the final decision on how this reflection is graded and if the student needs to provide anything additional.
Your reflection paper should include a brief description of your experience followed by your personal feelings, insights, opinions, and observations regarding its significance and its impact on you and your future. It should reflect your own thoughts on the experience, not those of others.
What words would you use to describe it? What did you learn? What are you taking away from it? What were the positives and negatives? Did it meet your expectations? How did your view of it change as the semester progressed? In summary, your reflection paper should be a reaction to
