Honors College Graduation

Graduating with Honors: a recognition of excellence

Graduating with Honors recognition is a remarkable achievement, something that fewer than 5% of the undergraduate students at IUPUI accomplish. Graduating with Honors means students complete at least 24 credit hours of Honors coursework with at least a B and a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.3. Honors graduates will see “IUPUI Honors College Scholar” on their diploma and transcript, and they receive Honors cords and a medallion to wear at graduation.

The majority of our Honors scholars graduate in four years and complete at least four engaged experiences such as research, internships, study abroad, service, or other hands-on, immersive activities. They go on to graduate or professional schools and/or gain employment and begin impressive careers. We look forward to welcoming all our graduates back as alumni who serve as important role models for our current scholars.
